China’s People’s Liberation Army decides to develop a Windows Alternative

China intends to develop a completely new operating system for its army in China, which should be particularly difficult to crack for foreign observers as it will have a truly unusual state.

Hey there, it’s me, Manish Koirala, bringing the latest world tech news. In this post, I am going to talk about the thing which is done by the Liberation Army of China to maintain peace and stability as well as security for their country.

why new OS (Operating System)?

The main objective of the new operating system would be to make it more difficult for foreign intelligence services to spy on Chinese state secrets.

The US trade war and US sanctions on Chinese IT giant Huawei, China’s People’s Liberation Army judges to develop a Windows option as it does not want to rely on the US. From the past experiences, the Chinese authorities do not want to trust operating systems like Windows, Linux or Unix.

Especially after the disclosures made by Edward Snowden which advices US intelligence has a large armory of listening devices for all sorts of materials from routers on Smart TV’s and mobile phones to desktop PC can be hacked.

No Linux, We Will Create A Brand New System For Us.

Reports suggest China does not want to use the free operating system Linux. North Korea uses Linux with its “Red Star OS”, but China instead wants to build a system for its army based on Linux but it will rather be a completely new operating system, different from Windows to make China more secure.

The task to develop the new operating system has been ordered by the authorities in Beijing ( the capital city of China ). A Communist Central Committee subordinated assembly outside the military and intelligence will be directly working on the development of the Windows alternative operating system.

Trade War is getting Bad to Worse

The extension of the OSCE operating system is being thought of. The Chinese IT giant Huawei is already blacklisted by the US and there is a cut off from US suppliers as the Trump Government accuses the group of spying for the Beijing government. China has strongly denied such claims.

Huawei has landed in trouble with not only its hardware being cut off from the US market, but even Google will no longer provide its Android operating system to the Chinese manufacturer in a few months from now.
