Samsung Galaxy Note 10 & Note 10+ Features You Must Know!

Hey there, What’s Up? do you know it has been 8 years since the Note series came into existence. and after 8 years, the month of the 10thiteration of the series the Note 10 is finally here. On the 7th of August, the phone was made public and globally the phones are set to release on the 23rd of August.

So, I got the phone already from one of my colleagues who stays in new york. so here the Hagtend team has pointed the top 10 cool things or features of Note 10. Just get into it…

Infinity O display

The Infinity O display on both the phones looks stunning. The Note 10+ is 6.8” has a large screen with a resolution of 3040 x 1440 while the Note 10 is a bit smaller at 6.3” with 2280 x 1080 resolution. The important innovation that tags along including the Infinity O display is the removal of the notch.

Note 10 and above unlike the Note 9 will not be having the notch. Instead, there’s a short cut out for front camera which by this time has been linked into almost all applications. So, only O notches!

Amazing video capabilities

There are some really interesting video capabilities with the Note 10 and Note 10+. Firstly, there’s going to be a portrait video mode, this will basically let you take videos with the bokeh or portrait feel. But as we have tried it the camera cannot distinguish the edges properly by which the edges and hair get blurred.

Also, the phone has a special feature that is audio focusing capability while you are in the video. In simple language, the sound quality of the source increases when you focus on the source and other unwanted sounds gets canceled. These features are really useful in concerts, programs, seminars. where we have to get our video and audio focus to a specific part.

The Power Of Snapdragon On Exynos

In previous notes, a major difference between the Exynos and snapdragon was power. The Exynos somehow needed behind but not this time. This time the Note 10 and Note 10+ will be available with Exynos 9825 which is definitely going to be more powerful and up to the level of snapdragon 855.

The Note 10+ (12/256 or 512) GB has a better memory than Note 10 (8/256) GB. At 12GB/512GB, the Note 10+ definitely has better performance and RAM management, the same can be said to Note 10+.

3 Models With Vary In Price

This time, Samsung has released 3 models for the device Note 10. The 3 variants are priced accordingly to fit the low, mid and high chain status. All of these phones look premium, have boxy appearances and seem to have good weight division overall.

The Magical S-Pen

Every year the S-Pen is upgraded and features something new. This time S-Pen has become a sort of a magical wand. The revised S-pen includes motion controls and air gestures which allows you to manage certain aspects without truly touching the smartphone. It has good control over the camera of Note 10. Also, it has many cool features in S Note present in Note 10.

The UI, apps or switch lenses and camera modes in the camera are some parts that can be controlled without touching the screen. The feature of writing notes in the always-on display has also been added which will definitely be beneficial.

3D depth camera

The Note 10+ features a four-part-camera setup with the fourth lens being a 3D depth vision camera. With the 3D depth vision comes the AI doodle which allows you to draw things in AR and attach it to a person. It means you can actually draw anything on camera with the help of S-pen and that drawing will be set in your image by AI so that you can get a nice pic withdrawing.

Another cool feature with the 3D depth camera is 3D scanning. You can basically scan a real-world object and create a 3D model on your phone. On the downside, this 3D Depth sensor will not be available in Note 10 which is a disappointment.

The AR doodles are now on the rear of the Note 10 but without that 3D depth camera, it feels sort of dull.

Battery and quick charging

The Note 10+ comes with 4300 mAh battery life and a whopping 45W fast charging. A day’s power in half an hour easily. Note 10, on the other hand, is left behind with a battery of 3500 mAh and a 25W fast charging. The Note 10+ also supports reverse charging to charge other devices and a 20W wireless charging which is pretty cool.

Goodbye headphone jack

The Note 10 and the Note 10+ are the first in the flagship series to surrender the headphone jack. The box does include a type C headphone but I doubt that it will be able to fill the void left by the headphone jack.

According to our recherche, we found that the engineers have told that due to larger attachments or specs like a battery, S-pen, and speaker, we have to remove 3.5mm jack port from the phone. Which is not a good logic…

Button disruption

There are a few changes in the outer buttons. The power button has been moved to the left which is fine. The dedicated Bixby button is also gone and in order to trigger Bixby, you’ll need to long-press the power button.

So, to shut down the phone, you’ll either have to long-press the volume and power keys or do it from the notification bar which is going to be quite an uneasy task.

Inherited features

There are some features this device has obtained from its previous line of phones and that is a good sign. Features like surrounded speakers, IP68 certification, wireless charging, reverse charging and Micro SD support does make the phone more beneficial for everyone to use it.

Well, Talking about the glory or price for Nepal, the price for Note 10 for pre-order is at Rs. 116,000 and the Note 10+ is set at Rs 135,000.
